A good product with several initial difficulties

First the pros: Attractive, knobs are easy to use to quickly set... no mashing buttons over and over to get to a setting. It takes a short 10 mins to preheat. Racks are stout. Doors feel strong and precise.Cons: There are significant flaws in the supply chain from factory to warehouse: The first two deliveries saw the control panel smashed! The third was not wired correctly causing initial preheating to take more than 40 minutes. Warrantee repair showed a wire inside the case not connected at the assembly plant. Thanks for fixing, but phone calls and waiting for corrections these three failures is time I can't get back. We shall see: I like the knobs but action feels less than precise. I wonder if after a few years of manipulation, will they hold up? Also, a bit of a burning plastic smell. Will that ever go away?

Efficient, Quiet, and Sleek

We had the previous version of the Frigidaire Professional Wall Oven and this new version is a night and day difference. It™€™s 2 times quieter with their new fan configuration, and heats up twice as fast. I™€™m really impressed with the oven so far. The light up knobs are a really nice touch too! The only thing missing that I would like to see is some type of wifi connection so we could preheat or see how much time is left on cooking.

We purchased this from US Appliance. They were great to deal with - especially Jason. Our delivery driver assisted me in getting it onto the porch so that I could get it into the house - more than he was required to do, but much appreciated! We've had it installed for 2 mo now and have used many of the features - all worked great. I read some reviews, saying the fans were loud/noisy - NOT so - at least with this one (and I've got excellent hearing). It makes doing multiple things at different temps a breeze! It also matches our new gas cooktop, so that's a plus!

One month in and it still doesn™€™t work.

We have had a Frigidaire technician look at the unit twice. As soon as the breaker is moved to the on position, it trips. There has never been even a flicker of power to the digital display. Frigidaire insists there is nothing wrong with the unit, and has asked us to have an electrician out twice to check the line. Both electricians who have looked at the line assure us it is fine. Frigidaire™€™s ™€œMaster Technicians™€ refuse to deem the unit dysfunctional, but can™€™t come up with anything they think is wrong. They have decided to order two parts that they don™€™t think will fix the problem, but they have to ™€œtry™€. The kicker is, these are THEIR OWN PARTS, but they can™€™t get them here any faster than 7-10 days. I could be wrong, but all of the major shipping services offer overnight delivery, so why am I waiting 7-10 days for them to get the part here before they will schedule another technician to come out? I have a newly remodeled kitchen with a brand new, large, expensive appliance sitting right in the middle of the floor. It has been two weeks and will be at least two more before they will look at it again. I was going to order the fridge to match this oven. That is certainly not going to happen now.

You would think that a "professional" double oven would have the ability to be set to any temperature, but not this one! Nothing in the literature mentioned that fact and only found out after it was installed. Sometimes I need to add 5° to 10° when baking, but I can't do it with this double oven. Nice looking oven and does a fine job, but very disappointed that I can't control the temperature to my liking. Would have been a five star review if it was able to do that, even in 5° increments. Very disappointed with my new appliance I will have to live with for years.

Pros and Cons

There are pros and cons to this oven. We love the size and the cooking options. We bought a second glider rack because we loved the one it came with so much.It heats relatively accurately, but sometimes forgets to come back up to temperature after the door has opened. You have to adjust the temp in order to wake it back up. Also, the timer has quit working twice already and we've only been using the appliance for a few months. You have to flip the breaker to reset it. Such an expensive and new appliance should have a working timer.

Worked great for a whole 3 months

We purchased this double wall oven in Sept 2022. I installed it in Feb 2023. By May, we started getting an F16 error. We started the process of contacting Frigidaire, waiting for an appointment, waiting for a repair, then finding out it still gives us an error code. We went through this slow process for months. Finally, in Feb of 2024, Frigidaire deemed the oven "unrepairable". They now tell us we are out of the warranty period. The best they will do is a 40% rebate towards a new one. Thankfully, we had an extended warranty. That didn't go as well as we hoped either. After 3 months of working with them, we got the 40% rebate from Frigidaire and they added $1000 more. We didn't get the same model as we find the knobs used on this are flawed, so we got a Gallary series as a replacement. After everything and arguing with Frigidaire for a year, we lost $1000 for an oven that worked for 3 months and I spent many hours on the phone with Frigidaire. I really thought they would've stood behind their "Professional" series much better than this.

We love our oven, but have had two problems since ordering our unit. First, the dealer gave us wrong dimensions, so we had to modify our cabinet. Second, the installer didn't consider the clearance for the handle, so we're going to see if a lower profile handle from a different Frigidaire oven will work. We appreciate the assistance of our dealer and Frigidaire rep to find a solution.

Have been using it for about 6 months. Spacious. Love the rolling rack. I don't have the knack for air frying yet since the chicken is either golden and dry or moist and pale, maybe spraying too much oil. Used the meat thermometer once and the Christmas roast turned out perfect. Despite using the regular bake option, there is a fan that blows air when the oven reaches temperature and when you shut it off. This messes up the timing for anything you leave in the warm oven as a recipe may indicate.

A couple bugs, the cook mode setting needs to be perfect or it wont work, seems slightly wonky. not sure about steam bake, pouring water directly in oven leaves a residue and not sure if we will use, also it doesn't crisp chicken skin as well but does keep meat moist

Not a fan of temperature control

I love everything about this double wall oven except one thing! The air fryer is so good that I bought a 2nd air fryer rack. However, if are making wings, bake them at 375 for 15-20 minutes. Then pull them off a pan and on the air fryer rack and air fry for another 10-15 minutes. This will avoid being smoked out of the house. However, I really dislike that the temps are in 25° increments. I have a cookie recipe that does best at 365°. I love to bake and have had to spend time tweaking recipes and cook times. 350° to 375° is a massive jump in heat. Which is even more important when ovens can be hotter or colder than what it is set to. Up to 25° or more depending on the oven.

This replaced my older GE double oven and I cannot believe how inconsistent the heating has been on top and bottom ovens. So disappointing. I cannot trust that 350 is actually 350. I can be 50 degrees off and then next time be exactly right when it preheats. And I™€™ve never seen an oven drop temp so quickly when door opens briefly.

Replaced a 12 year old Frigidaire double oven whose control panel was all digital. Oven works great and the soft close doors are very cool. I see two improvements that could be made. First, the four control knobs are kind of wobbly and ™€˜loose™€™ feeling. Second, the timer is awkward and slow to use. I would like to be able to type a time instead of pushing/holding the +/- and under shooting/over shooting the desired time. IOW, it™€™s too slow to use. That™€™s it. I™€™m sure they will be great ovens.

DO NOT, buy any of these double ovens! Please do yourself a huge favor, research the problems with this brand! I™€™ve had these double ovens for 1 1/2 years and I™€™ve had to have the control panel replaced 3 times. I started researching after I had so many problems with it. I would have chosen another brand, but we had to go with what the builder was offering. There are sooooo many others out there having the same problems™€¦so much, so they have an entire blog dedicated to the problems with this appliance. The company KNOWS this is a problem, and they must know by now it™€™s a manufacture defect..however, they will do absolutely NOTHING to make it right. They will not stand behind their product, do a recall, or give a crap about the fact your still having the same issue you did right out of the box! Do yourself and everyone you know a big favor, tell them to buy from a company who values its customers. It has now become my mission to inform anyone I know who™€™s looking to buy appliances to stay far away from Frigidaire, if they don™€™t want to get ripped off!

have used the oven for about 3 weeks now. I love all the cooking features. I used the steam bake and made the most moist chicken ever! looking forward to the air fry.the only disappointment I have is the slow reaction when using the touch screen for the timers.

Poor Wire Routing Design Led to Stove Arcing and Becoming Inoperative.

BEWARE - Dangerous Wire Management - I was more than happy to have my new Double Oven installed (PCWD3080AFA). All the great cooking modes and the larger ovens. We were getting ready for next weeks Thanksgiving dinner and our guests. Imagine my dismay when I used the "Lock" mode and heard an arc and snap from within the stove. The oven remained powered and locked and would not function. The oven was removed and upon disassembly found a poorly routed wire for the locking motor pinched between the "Protective cover" and the "Designated Wire Routing Groove" panel. The wire had pinched between the 2 and had arced (the wire was the fuse!). (See picture). Upon further inspection we found the welded/arced area. (See photo). Since the current wire routing design is inadequate, a proper grommet was installed to protect the wiring. (See photo). I understand trying to reduce the costs of appliances but the wiring routing design should never be compromised. Please take heed when you purchase this appliance.

I find the oven pleasant because of the built-in air fryer. You can cook meat in the upper oven air fry and veggies in the lower oven air fry at the same time. This is great. I enjoy my wall oven.

The modern styling, features and large cooking area are a great choice. Each oven has 3 racks and the control knobs light up to indicate which unit is in use. The digital control features a child lock, separate light controls and timers. There is also a cook temperature probe in top unit.
